On July 28, 1949, the Grove City Little League All-Star team played the Plain City All-Star team. The two teams were the first to play at Wade’s Park new official size Little League diamond. Admission was free at the park, located north of Columbus Street and west of Richard Avenue. Games were played there until the Little League was relocated to Windsor Park.
