      Beulah Park: One For the Ages
Janet Shailer will be giving a presentation on the history of Beulah Park at the annual Friends of the Library membership meeting. The presentation will take place at 6:30, in the large meeting room on the first floor of the library.
Old Time Harvest Day
Old-Time Harvest Day in Grove City gives today’s generation a look into life in Ohio during the mid-1800s.
Experience living in history with a variety of hands-on demonstrations and exhibits of traditional crafts and daily chores including leather tooling, quilting, rope making, quilling, tin smithing, corn husking, shelling and grinding.
Plan to experience:
-The Clover Club 4H group with animals.
-Hands-on exploration of skills, chores, and games from times gone by.
-Historical buildings including a one-room schoolhouse, log cabin, general store and barns.
-The Village herb garden, windmill and antique equipment.
-Metalworking demonstrations on a traditional forge in the blacksmith shop.
-Period music.
-Admission and parking are free.
SWFCHS Monthly Meeting
This is our annual potluck event. Please bring a dish to share, along with dinnerware and a beverage. Fried chicken will be provided.

Heritage Celebration
Join us 12-4 p.m., Saturday, June 14 in Fryer Park, 4185 Orders Road for our annual Heritage Celebration. Bring the family to experience a taste of everyday life in an Ohio farm community in the late 1800s through building tours and demonstrations as history comes to life among the buildings of Century Village. The Village Pickers will provide Bluegrass music on the Kegg Log House porch, and the Society will have their historical booklets and items for sale in the Black House General Store.

      Eggstravaganza
Hop on over to Century Village at Fryer Park and join us for some Spring Fun. This isn’t a traditional egg hunt!
The Society will have the buildings of Century Village open for touring. There will be trunks with treats from many local businesses and a scavenger hunt.
From 10 AM until noon the depot will be open for those with special sensory needs. The general public is invited from noon to two.

Grant-Sawyer Homestead Tour
The Grant-Sawyer Homestead is available for guided tours the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 10am, noon, and 2p.  RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED, as there is a maximum of 10 guests per tour.  Call 614-277-3061 to make a reservation, Tuesday. - Fri., 10:00AM -4:00 PM.
The cost is $5 for adults, $3 children 12 and under.  Exact payment required—cash or check.  Credit card payments not accepted. 
Please allow 5-10 minutes for parking, which is available on Gladman Avenue behind the home, accessible from Columbus Street and Sawyer Drive.  Tours begin at the barn located behind the home.
Please note—The home and other buildings on the grounds are not ADA-compliant.  Navigating stairs to enter and tour the home is necessary.  No food or drinks are permitted in the buildings.
 
        
      
      Orders Road Schoolhouse Tour
The restored Orders Road Schoolhouse will be open for tours at Century Village. Admission and parking is free.
Please note that the Schoolhouse is NOT ADA-compliant. Navigating a few stairs to enter the building is necessary. No food or drinks are permitted in the buildings.
