Check Your Oil?
Self-serve gasoline stations are an item of the past where a station attendant would check your oil, wash your windshield and fill the tank. Some stations would open a glass bottle of Coke and pour it on a windshield to cut through dust and grime.

If you haven’t visited the Grove City Welcome Center and Museum, 3378 Park Street behind Planks, recently, it’s time for a return trip. Always something new and exciting to see and its free. Open Tuesday-Friday, 10-4 and Saturday 9-Noon. Group tours available by calling 614-277-3061.
First Bicycle
Adam Grant, left, shows off the first bicycle people saw in Grove City. Since Grant owned a street railway from Grove City to a switching station at Greenlawn Cemetery, his bike most likely wasn’t competition. The crowd numbered more than 50 people.
