Grant’s Honey

The first permanent settler in this area fell to his death harvesting honey from a tree and is buried in an unknown grave somewhere on the Scioto Grove Metro Park property. That man was Hugh Grant Sr. and he died around 1806. He was the grandfather of Adam G. Grant.
