Absolom Borror

First Lieutenant Absolom Borror was the son of American Revolutionary War veteran Jacob Borror Jr. and Magdalene Strader Borror, was wounded in the Battle of Shiloh during the Civil War. After Absolom’s father died while they lived in Kentucky, his mother moved the family to Jackson Township around 1809, an area known today as Borrors Corners at Jackson Pike and SR 665.
